Safe within explosive environments when used with a grounding cable reel, it is possible to measure product layer as thin as 1/200 feet (1mm) that is floating on the surface water in a fast and effective way. The probe will report oil presence with a continuous sound alert and a constant LED light. It will also report water presence with an intermittent sound and a flashing light.

The hydrocarbon resistant Kynar jacketed, high tensile steel core tape is able to withstand hydrocarbons, solvents and other harsh contaminants. It is graduated in the imperial (foot/inch) and metric systems (meter/centimetre). Automatic shut-off after 10 minutes of non-use. One-year warranty on the probe and 5-year on the kit.
