Heron groundwater data logger

Heron’s DipperLog groundwater data logger offers a large range of samples with pressure intervals up to 400’ (120m) of depth and temperature. It is a superior, low cost, accurate groundwater data logger used by home owners, hydrogeologists and other groundwater professionals requiring a durable, reliable and cost effective solution to long term monitoring of groundwater levels and temperature in wells, boreholes and open bodies of water. The temperature response time is 10 seconds and can save up to 64,000 data sets (logging intervals between 1 second to 255 hours). The data can be transferred on a PC / printer via USB / RS232. The interface cable (5021) enables the DipperLog to be accessed from remote locations by a central computer base.

Reliable, durable and easy of use, even more with the BarLog barometric logger (5116) used to automatically compensate readings stored on the DipperLog for changes in barometric pressure (for non-vented version). With an intuitive and user friendly software program, the DipperLog is simple to launch and data recovery is fast and easy. A model with reading cable for PC is also available. The battery lifespan can reach up to 7 years based on 5 minute reading intervals. The DipperLog is available in stainless steel and delrin.

The tap-N-tell (5020) is a surface mount weather resistant display accessory for the DipperLog that provides an instant real time reading of water level and temperature with a tap of a finger. The show-N-tell (5018) is the portable version of the tap-N-tell that can be carried from well to well, giving instant real time reading of water level and temperature by simply plugging into the direct read well head. This product does not download or store the data from the logger. The Vented DipperLog (5032F / 5032M) is a reliable and cost effective solution to long term monitoring of groundwater levels and temperature in wells, boreholes and open bodies of water. The vented logger is also ideal for applications involving short term pump and slug testing, or for wetland and tidal studies.
