This Wyoming bentonite is made to seal abandoned wells or any other installations requiring a vertical sealing that can prevent, in a borehole, water movement going to the top and infiltration by the surface. When absorbing water, the bentonite swells itself in order to fill the empty spaces, exercising a pressure against all surfaces, thus creating a flexible seal with low permeability. Prevents entry of surface water into boreholes.
This product is universal. It is mostly used for repairing abandoned wells, seal above gravel packs, plug decommissioned boreholes, seal around conductor pipe & lost circulation zones, and shut off artesian flow.
