The drum microscreen filter features a polyester microscreen (nitex type) mounted on a corrosion resistant drum for strength and durability. The particles are separated from the liquid by the cell structure of the filtration membrane. As water flows through the lower drum’s half, the small screen cells help to transport the captured solids to the backwash spray area for an intermittent and automatic self cleaning.
