Dechlorinator

These filters are used to remove the non-desirable particles or chemicals which circulate in your water. Among those, we count the high-output coal filtration systems to remove chlorine in your water arriving from the city. These filters can be used with 120 psi pressure or less. We use the activated carbon to remove the matters which communicate to water a taste, an odor or a color. A periodic backwashing (automatic) with counter-current is enough to eliminate the suspended matter and to reload the filter bed. The activated carbon has a great capacity of elimination, but it must be replaced when it loses this effectiveness.

This dechlorinator is available in two versions: with electric valve for backwash and without the valve (add “-SV” after the code item). The “-SV” model includes the 3/4” M/NPT in/out head (60010068M). The electric valve (V3070FM) allows to block non-treated water to circulate in pipes during backwash. The bypass valve (V3006) can change the water path or to keep water circulating in pipes when the dechlorinator is not being used.
