These aeration discs can be used in corrosive liquids, for the water treatment or rejection in aquaculture. The oxygenation membrane in EPDM offers uniform bubbles and does not require any maintenance. The principle is simple: when an air pressure is applied, the membrane takes expansion and the air is diffused on all its surface. At this time, the small openings in the membrane produce fine bubbles and when the pressure disappears, the pores are closed again at 100%. The inlet of the air is done by the lower part, which makes it perfectly compatible with the existing system in the ponds of purification of water. To install the diffuser, simply make a hole on the surface of the pipe of distribution and thread directly the diffuser on it. A ring of retention in ABS firmly retains the membrane on its basis and allows, in a few seconds, to replace it if necessary (generally after several years).
