There is an excellent way of detecting the stop of an output of water or air in a pipe. An internal switch can send a signal to a warning system or to put in function or stop a heater, a cooler, a pump, etc... (2 HP max. @ 230 V). Adjusted in factory to detect a flow lower than 6 gpm. To 40 gpm the loss of pressure is only 6" H2O. Water cannot come in contact with the switch of the type SPST. The entry and the exit are of stuck 1½ "PVC female. Resist a pressure of 100 psi. Electric capacity of 25 amps @ 125 VAC or 25 amps @ 230 VAC. ST-9
